We collaborated with airflow specialist Dave Visner to create a better carb hat. One that is aesthetically more pleasing, fits a wider variety of applications and reduces power-robbing turbulence.
Each Hat comes with an O-ring to seal the hat to a 4150-style carburetor flange; one domed, stainless steel hexagon nut in your choice of size – 1/4-20, 5/16-18 or 3/8-16 — which will secure the hat to the centrally located stud of the carburetor (the nuts are flanged and grooved on their undersides and each contains an O-ring); and one special Clampco 4.0in T-bolt clamp.
